Keep America Beautiful Survey
How do you know where you're going if you don't know where you're at? I'll give you a hint, you don't! If this makes sense to you, then we've got the perfect opportunity for you.
The Keep America Beautiful Survey, or KAB for short, is a quarterly litter survey of 22 key areas of Prince William County. Those who volunteer for the program, receive training and then spend the morning riding around the county (in an air conditioned van) rating the amount of litter they see using a 1 to 4 litter index scale.
The results of the survey are used by us, Prince William County government, and national litter organizations to determine the cost of litter and littering to the environment.
