Storm Drain Labeling
Storm Drain Labeling Initiative

We are partnering with Prince William County Watershed Management Branch in a multi-year initiative that will label all eligible storm drains in Prince William County Virginia.

What are storm drain labels?

Storm drain labels are pre-cast plaques, tiles or stencils – in our case a 3 x 5 1/4 raised plastic label - that generally contain a simple phrase or graphic to remind people that storm drains connect to local water bodies and that dumping will pollute those waters.

We have many volunteer opportunities available for this initiative. See the list below of dates and areas that we will be labeling in 2010. All labeling events will include an educational component via the storm water model which will be presented during the event.

Click on the blue "pins" on the map to see locations and dates for our storm drain labeling events.
