Adopt-A-School

A subset of the Adopt-A-Spot Program, the Adopt-A-School Program was launched in January, 2006 to engage children in litter prevention education and volunteer opportunities.  Schools that participate in this program partner with the Council for a period of one school year.  Under the supervision of an approved advisor, students agree to clean the exterior of the school and the surrounding grounds a minimum of six times per school year.  The Council provides cleaning and safety supplies and a sign for the partnering school.
