| Volunteer Programs » Clean Shopping Center The Clean Shopping Center program is a vehicle to assist shopping center managers in keeping their property litter free. It is also a mechanism for citizens to become active stewards over the places that they shop and eat. Volunteers anonymously survey an assigned shopping center four times a year and report the results to the Council each time the center is surveyed. Based on the survey results each shopping center is given a score. The Council sends the score and the survey results to the shopping center manager so that he/she is aware of any litter concerns. At the end of the fiscal year, the shopping center with the highest average receives the Council’s Clean Shopping Center Award. |
